Seaspoon Seaweed Seasoning 55% Seaweed (our magic mix of seaweeds, Dulse, Sea Spaghetti, Sea Lettuce - Ulva rigida & intestinalis) and:
- sea salt and pepper
The seasoning harnesses the natural goodness and taste of seaweed, plus a few choice extra ingredients including tomato, to create a big flavoured alternative to the salt pot that you can sprinkle without guilt.
The seaweed brings a naturally salty taste and a broad range of both minerals & vitamins, plant protein, fibre, antioxidants and omega oils are also present. Despite its salty taste our seaweed seasoning contains just 6.5g/100g salt.
Our seasoning is fantastic on just about anything. Think fish & fries, avocado & tomato, corn on the cob, mashed potato or sprinkled on roasted sweet potato. Being a natural product the jar may need a 'shake to wake' (loosen) the ingredients. Store in a cool and dry place.
WHY NOT ALSO TRY...
If you are looking for a great gift, you could also try The Captain's Collection, containing a pouch of each of our Seaweed Blends.
We do not use kelp known for its exceptional high levels of iodine. (With iodine, a rule of thumb is not too little, or too much.) This means that you can eat our Seaspoon products knowing that 2g, or a teaspoon, of our original 'Boost' is in line with RNI (Reference nutrient Intake). also see our FAQ's.
*ALLERGENS & SUSTAINABILITY NOTE
Given it's (seaweeds) natural origin may contain fish, crustaceans and molluscs. Please also see our FAQ's re our seaweeds and sustainability. We harvest our seaweeds on the south coast of Devon and also work with a European organic cultivator.
