Seaspoon Seaweed Seasoning

One 25g Refill Pouch (recyclable)

Keep your Shaker pot topped up with our handy refill packs!

Seaspoon have teamed up with Mitch Tonks - Rockfish in creating this exciting new seaweed seasoning that sits as an alternative to the 'salt pot'. The seasoning harnesses the natural goodness and taste of seaweed, plus a few choice extra ingredients including tomato, to create a big flavoured alternative to the salt pot that you can sprinkle without guilt.

The seaweed brings a naturally salty taste and a broad range of both minerals & vitamins, plant protein, fibre, antioxidants and omega oils are also all present. Despite its salty taste our seaweed seasoning contains just 6.5g/100g salt.

Gluten Free and suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans*

Our seasoning is fantastic on just about anything. Think fish & fries, avocado & tomato, mashed potato or sprinkled on roasted sweet potato.

Being a natural product when transferred into a shaker the jar may need a 'shake to wake' (loosen) the ingredients, store in a cool and dry place.

Seaspoon Seaweed Seasoning is 55% Seaweed (our magic mix of four seaweeds, Dulse, Sea Spaghetti, Sea Greens and Sea Lettuce) and the remaining is simply:

  • tomato
  • onion
  • garlic
  • sea salt and pepper

If you like adding flavour with benefits to your food, try our Seaspoon Seaweed Herb Mix, it's the traditional herby flavour with the added goodness of seaweed! Or our Umami Blend Intro Pack

We do not use kelp, known for its exceptionally high levels of iodine. (With iodine, a rule of thumb is not too little, or too much.) This means that you can eat our Seaspoon products daily knowing that 2g, is in line with RNI (Reference Nutrient Intake). also see FAQ's

All seaweeds we harvest are handpicked using just waders or a wetsuit and scissors, in a sustainable and responsible way. Our seaweed is grown naturally and is well washed without the use of chemicals - as such may contain traces of fish, crustaceans and molluscs.
