
Seaweed and fish go hand in hand (or fin in fin?), so why limit yourself to a single fish pâté recipe?
Perfect as a festive starter or canape, this recipe duo is a quick and easy way to make a splash with your Christmas entertaining!
INGREDIENTS (serves 6)
For the Mackerel & Seaweed Pâté:
- 250g smoked mackerel
- 150g cream cheese
- Half a lemon
- 1 tsp Seaspoon Seaweed Boost
- Black pepper
For the Smoked Salmon &Seaweed Pâté:
- 250g Smoked salmon
- 150g cream cheese
- Half a lemon
- 1 teaspoon Seaspoon Seaweed Seasoning
METHOD
- Add the ingredients for one of the pâtés to a food processor and mix for 2 mins.
- Clean the processor and repeat it with the ingredients for the second pâté.
- Sprinkle some extra Seaweed Boost on your finished Makeral Pâté and extra Seaweed Seasoning on your finished Smoked Salmon Pâté.
- Serve together on a platter, with crusty bread and a green salad.
