Producers Bursary Award winners

Back in September we entered one of the most prestigious competitions for start-up food producers, the BBC Good Food Show Producers Bursary Award. The well established Awards have now been running for a decade, supporting small artisan producers, newcomers to the industry, with an incredible platform to promote and sell their products.

We were a bundle of nerves as we hand delivered our Seaspoon package to the BBC Good Food Magazine offices in London where the editorial team spent a day tasting and analysing the entries.

The tension didn't end there, in fact you could cut it with a knife at Seaspoon HQ as we awaited the decision. Then the phone rang and Katy Truss, founder of Fabulous Food Finds and manager of the Awards, told us the fantastic news that we were going to go to the BBC Good Food Show Winter as Producers Bursary Award winners!

So, we'll be sharing our love of Seaweed on stand A52 at the BBC Good Food Show Winter, which takes place at Birmingham's NEC from 29 November to 2 December. At the time of writing, there's a discounted ticket rate on their website.

We'll be sampling and selling Seaspoon seaweed at the event, so you can come along to taste our flavours and meet the team. You can expect some discounts too!

Jump on board and find us there to pick up the ultimate Christmas gift that will kick-start a healthy 2019.

Over and out for now Seaspooners!
Tim and Kate
